I always knew I was creative. But I struggled for a long time to find my medium. It wasn’t until I picked up a camera under the instruction of my wonderful Dad, that everything, well….. “clicked” !! Photography got under my skin and I have not put the camera down since.
I studied History of Art at university but I now realise I am far more inspired by the stories of real people. The look of pride on your Dad’s face when he leads you down the aisle, the tears in your eyes during the speeches, your grandmother making last minute alterations to your dress. I feel very privileged to document those moments for you, it really is the best job in the world!
My aim is that you will barely notice me as I capture a natural and honest narrative of your day. I approach the day with the aim of giving the support of a friend whilst also being discreet and professional. It is not rare for me to stay friends with my couples long after their wedding day, going on to photograph their families as they grow.
Aside from photography my other loves in life include; my five best friends, Westies, my Fiat 500, Fleetwood Mac, coffee, the stage costumes of Stevie Nicks and my boyfriend Charlie…. (I need to edit this now to say ‘husband- to-be’ as Charlie popped the question in September last year, and I, like you am now in the midst of wedmin!)
I’d love to hear more about you, so please drop me an email or use the contacts page.
I look forward to meeting you!
