Now, I do not like to pick favourites with my weddings- but I loved Rose and Matt’s day so very much. I really had to stop myself from blogging all 500 + images! I’m planning a blog post in the next few weeks about candids and guests, so I’ll sneak them in there:)

Rose found me through the wonderful, Festival Brides wedding blog and gave me a call one cold January morning to discuss wedding ideas. Rose and Matt were planning a wedding at the local church near her Mum and Dad’s house and then back to a marquee reception held in her parent’s orchard.  I loved all their ideas, especially Rose walking from her parents house to the church where she had grown up. It really reminded me of what we have planned for our big day next July.

Big thank you to Charlie for helping out on this one!

I was absolutely thrilled to get Andy and Holly’s enquiry to shoot their small wedding. Although I absolutely love travelling for my job and seeing lots of different venues and locations, it was a wonderful experience to just walk up the road to photograph bridal prep!

Here is a sneak peek of their couple portraits that I took in my own little bit of the world- Potton in Bedfordshire. Although they seemed a little nervous at first, I think you can agree that they were complete naturals in front of the camera.

More from their intimate wedding will appear on the blog soon.

I shot Matthew & Rose’s  DIY Garden Wedding this weekend. Guests from across the world gathered in Rose’s parent’s back garden to celebrate.

Here is a small sneak peak and a few kind words from the happy couple.

“Thank you SO much for the photos, they’re incredible!! So gorgeous, I love all the colours.
We had the most amazing day.
Thank YOU  for being so fantastic. You made us both feel at ease and everyone has said how discrete and professional you were. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Rose and Matt, aka Mr and Mrs Tighe.. Xxxx”

Watch this space for the rest of Matt & Rose’s beautiful day.

On this blustery, dark afternoon, it is nice to remember romantic moments bathed in beautiful sunshine.
